Brooks Young - Album Review

Brooks Young - Album Review

The new ‘Brooks Young Band’ album, "Time to Fly", is coming out on June 18th 2013. We were given a sneak peak of 4 minutes of the album. Normally we get to hear an entire album before we are sent something to review, so please keep in mind; This review is based totally on the four minutes that you yourself can hear at the end of this review. In fact... why should you even read this review? Just go to the bottom of the review.... listen to the 4 minutes and decide for yourself. Don’t look at us to tell you if music is good or not. Listen for yourself.

We will tell you the quality of the recording is great, recorded by Brian Coombes at Rocking Horse Studios(we strongly suggest this studio if you are looking to record). The musicianship is great. They are all excellent players. But if our opinion of the music is that it “It is the Sgt. Peppers of our generation”- - or if we said “Sounds like Bon Jovi when he went adult contemporary”-... Who cares? All that matters is if you like it. Our opinions don’t matter. We just want you to check out local music. So do it! Check out Brooks Young – Check out other local music.. Get involved.. Build a scene. Go to a show.. buy an album... hit play. http://www.brooksyoungband.com
